Ashley Sorensen is a Photographer and Videographer.

ASHLEY (mid-twenties), curly brown hair, green eyes, freckled face. She carries a camera in one hand and a notebook and pencil in the other.

Ashley started editing and working behind the camera in 2013 when Coraline and Corpse Bride inspired her to become a storyteller. Originally feeling like the “oddball” in her group of peers, these stories made her feel less alone and eager to create her own work. Now she holds a BA in Film and Media Production with a Minor in Theatre.

She believes as human-beings we need stories to develop a deeper understanding of others and the world we live in. And believes that those stories can be told in realistic and fantasy realms.

Ashley is now a photographer and videographer with nine years of experience, four of those years being involved in full-time professional work. Her experience reigns from narrative short film, education, and marketing and journalism.

Some of her recent work has been showcased in festivals such as Lady Filmmakers Festival (2022), Nashville Screenwriters Competition (2021), and Photographers Forum (2017). Outside of her work, Ashley is an avid reader and writer who loves connecting with fellow creatives over a cup of coffee!
